SOLANA is a long, voluminous U-part Afro wig made with high quality Marley Kinky fibre, giving you the look of beautifully blown out, stretched natural hair with plenty of texture and body. Her kinky, blown out texture creates a soft, fluffy silhouette with dramatic volume , while the U-part allows you to leave out your own hair for a natural looking blend for a leave out, sew in inspired look. When blended properly, the texture mimics the appearance of naturally blown out type 4C hair so closely that people may think it’s your own. At approximately 28 inches she is long, full and unapologetically voluminous perfect for anyone who wants hair that makes a statement. Solana has a crochet inspired aesthetic, drawing from the big, textured Afro styles created with Marley Kinky hair.

Care Instructions

SOLANA is made with synthetic Marley Kinky fibre and is designed to maintain its blown out texture with gentle handling. With proper care, you can keep her looking full, textured and beautiful.

1. HANDLE WITH YOUR HANDS

Finger detangle Solana gently whenever needed. Avoid brushing or combing the hair regularly, as this can disturb the texture, create excess frizz and reduce the fullness of the original style.

2. WASH GENTLY

Wash with a gentle shampoo and cold or cool water. Gently cleanse the hair without vigorous rubbing or scrubbing. Try not to detangle the hair while washing. Rinse thoroughly and allow the wig to air dry naturally.

3. MAINTAIN THE BLOWN-OUT LOOK

If you want to keep Solana’s original blown-out texture, avoid unnecessary brushing, combing and heat. For everyday maintenance, gently separate and shape the hair with your fingers.

4. WANT TO RESTYLE HER?

You can change Solana’s texture using gentle heat or styling techniques. To stretch the fibre further, you may carefully use a hair dryer on a low or cool setting. You can also create a different curl pattern by braiding the hair, using curling rods or similar heat-free techniques. The hot water method may also be used.

Important: Once you change the fibre’s original pattern, it may not return to its original blown out texture. Restyle only if you are happy to continue with the new pattern.

5. ADD SOME SHINE

A light oil sheen can be used to refresh the fibre and add a subtle shine. Use sparingly. Too much product can weigh down the hair and reduce its natural volume.

6. PROTECT HER AT NIGHT

Before sleeping, gently arrange the hair and cover the wig with a satin scarf or bonnet to reduce friction, tangling and unnecessary frizz.

7. EMBRACE THE TEXTURE

Solana is meant to be big, fluffy and textured. A little frizz is part of her natural Afro character. Treat her gently and let her be big.
